SHOAL CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH

Deacons are responsible for assisting the pastor in ministering to the members of the church.  Deacons are an extension of the pastor and are accountable to the pastor in conducting their assignments.  Their responsibilities include phone calls, visitation, praying for the sick, or for those experiencing hardships. The deacons administer communion to the sick and shut-in monthly.  Deacons are also responsible to keep peace and harmony among the members.
